About the project
The YouHEALTH project was implemented to strengthen the capacity of youth organisations, trainers and young people in responding to the psychological and social effects of public health crises and natural disasters. The project was developed in response to the increasing need for accurate information, mental-health-oriented training, and digital tools that could help young people build resilience during and after emergency situations.
Throughout the project, the partnership conducted an in-depth needs analysis to understand the training gaps faced by youth workers, educators and service providers. Based on these findings, the consortium designed a comprehensive training curriculum, digital learning materials and an online platform to support youth mental health. The project also produced a structured toolkit offering practical guidance to youth workers and training centres on integrating mental-health support into their programmes.
By combining research, innovative digital tools and hands-on training methods, YouHEALTH enhanced the preparedness and skills of youth professionals in four partner countries and increased awareness about the importance of mental well-being in times of crisis. The outcomes remain available to support youth organisations, educators and communities across Europe in promoting resilience, inclusion and psychological readiness among young people.
